It wasn’t because Marlon was bad, cause he isn’t; it’s because Brown is that good. He’s done it time and time again this season and there is no stopping him. In the end, Brown finished with 116 yards and a touchdown on three receptions!Stock upMarty Mornhinweg — Incredible playcalling. Unique looks and stayed aggressive throughout the game to push his offense to their third win of the season. Execution is the only thing standing between Baltimore and higher scoring production.Tony Jefferson — The first drive for the Steelers ended quickly as TJ stripped the ball from Vance McDonald. If not for McDonald’s ankle ‘tackling’ Jefferson, he’d have a touchdown on the play.Willie Snead IV — Incredible catches to move the chains all game. Joe Haden did everything to stop him on a late drive but Snead still hauled in the tough first-down grab.Joe Flacco — Great completions across the board. He dominated tonight, no doubt about it. The franchise quarterback ended the night with 28 completions on 42 attempts. He completed two touchdowns, zero interceptions and produced a 109.5 QBR.Lamar Jackson — His plays were effective all game. He ran the ball and did his job.Maxx Williams — Five targets and five catches! Quite possibly the catch of the game with a trick play by Marty Mornhinweg.Anthony Levine — Co-Cap with two pass break-ups and an interception to seal the win for the Ravens.Justin Tucker — He’s the best. Ever. Don’t ever tell me otherwise.Brandon Carr — Touchdown pass breakups and great coverage all game.Javorius Allen — Moving piles and chewing clock. Buck came up big. He also caught two passes and Alex Lewis — He pulled as a guard too many times to count and always found himself making a block to gain ground for the running game.De’Lance Turner — Only a few snaps, but he made the most of them!Tim Williams — A late-game sack as he hit the inside move on Alejandro Villanueva. Nothing like getting a sack on Ben Roethlisberger.Second-half defense — Yet again, this defense has not allowed a second-half touchdown. The adjustments and approach by Wink and John Harbaugh are going great.Jimmy Smith — The Ravens are 3-1 without Jimmy. Now, ‘Beans’ is back and it’s only going to get better.James Hurst — He’s done a fine job at right tackle these first four weeks. We all questioned this decision by Harbaugh and the front office. Credit where it’s due.Stock downAlex Collins — You can’t fumble. You can’t fumble on the goal line.Middle of the field coverage — Whether it is C.J. Mosley, Kenny Young, Patrick Onwuasor or the scheme structure of Don Martindale, this needs to be worked on. Far too many times, the Steelers tight ends and slot receivers found room to catch and run in the middle. It’s been three years since the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos went head-to-head and it’s time for a look into their history. The most recent matchup (2015), featured Gary Kubiak coaching Peyton Manning after being the offensive coordinator for the Ravens only a season ago. It’s safe to say both teams have changed.Regular season: Denver leads 6-5Post-season: Baltimore leads 2-0John Harbaugh era: 2-3 / 1-02015The most recent matchup was a defensive slug-fest. Joe Flacco nor Manning threw for a touchdown; well, not to their own team anyways. Manning was intercepted by Jimmy Smith who took it to the house on an easy 26-yard score. Unfortunately, later on, Aqib Talib picked off Flacco for a 51-yard touchdown as he weaved through traffic. The Ravens did have a chance to win the game but a 3rd & 10 pass to the endzone was intercepted by former Raven Darian Stewart.This was the first of 12-straight one-score games the Ravens produced. While the Ravens 2015 season was ugly, it did have drama-filled fourth quarters.2013After the Ravens won the Super Bowl and cut/lost what felt like every single starter on the team, their Week 1 opponent became the Broncos at Mile High. Denver was out for blood after the defeat in the divisional round (read below). The Bronco offense was lethal, they called themselves the ‘Pick Your Poison’ offense due to the overwhelming offensive talent for Manning, including Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker Cheap Joe Flacco Jersey , Wes Welker and Knowshon Moreno. At the half, Baltimore lead 17-14, but the scoring had only just begun. Second down featured a short run by the quarterback for a gain of seven.On third down, Joe Flacco completed the greatest pass in Ravens’ history. The play-by-play reads, The play shocked the world. Fans across the league, be it Ravens, Broncos or otherwise, couldn’t believe the result. There’s even Broncos fan footage with disbelief (Warning: NSFW language).It became known as the “Mile High Miracle.”Broncos head coach John Fox, with his Hall of Fame quarterback, 31 seconds left and two timeouts in hand, opted to kneel and send this game to overtime.After nearly an entire overtime period, Manning was flushed from the pocket and threw across his body to Brandon Stokley, but Corey Graham cut the route and intercepted the pass.Five plays later, undrafted free agent kicker Justin Tucker completes a 47-yard field goal attempt, winning the game for the underdogs.But I digress, both teams changed tremendously over these past years. This is not the same matchup as before. That being said, the stakes are still large. The end result will display the Ravens with a record of 2-1 or 1-2. Or, as ties have occurred in each of the first two weeks, we could see 1-1-1. Who knows at this point?
